Moderate “flow” with dynamic breathing and synchronized movement. Open, relax, reinvigorate, nourish and restore. This description also applies to “Yoga Love” classes.

Poses held in order to “practice rest” for up to a few minutes in supported positions. Breath is natural and the challenge is found in watching without changing the natural flow of our own breath. Sequencing has less overall movement and asana postures and is designed to activate “rest and digest” via the parasympathetic nervous system. This practice releases fascia and soft tissues, dissolving stressful tension to allow relaxation. Nourish the body and receive benefits like receiving oxygen during an inhale. Rejuvenating!

This Sun/Moon practice is foundational to flow and yin as it combines elements of both. Link breath and movement in a rhythmic dance that frees the mind. This class balances the self. Some sun salutation sequences may be used to assist building heat, to align and strengthen the body while restorative and more subtle elements are consciously offered to balance throughout class.
